About us

508 Tavern debuted in May 2017 by couple Shelly Kentner and Hector Estrada. After many years in the food and beverage industry, Vista native Shelly and Valley Center-raised Hector decided it was their turn to create something special. Wanting to bring something quaint and personable to Shelly’s hometown, together they crafted the comfort-food-based menu with dishes they both grew up enjoying. With a shared love of craft beer, their 12 taps are in a constant rotation of local brews as well as selections from afar. Shelly and Hector welcome everyone to experience the local hometown vibe at 508 Tavern.

Flavorful little place. Visited on a Saturday afternoon, first time ever here. The food was very flavorful (yummy). Service was excellent. Overall nice place to chill and enjoy some food and drinks.
